Valley of Flowers to open on June 1; forest department to limit number of visitors

The number of tourists will be determined in order to visit the world famous tourist site of the valley of flowers. Only after the forest department’s permission, tourists can visit the valley. Due to being an ecology sensitive zone, how many tourists will visit at one time, will be decided by the forest department.

Instructions have been issued to the local administration to provide better facilities to tourists visiting the Valley of flowers from the Tourism Department. With the start of the Chardham Yatra in the state, tourists’ movement will start in the valley of World Heritage in June. For this, the tourism department has completed the preparations.

Tourism Secretary Dilip Javalkar said that the flowering valley is in eco-sensitive zone. Only the permission of forest department will allow tourists to enter the flower valley. How many tourists will visit at once, its number will also be determined by the forest department.

This valley is internationally recognized. Through which flowers are the center of attraction for tourists coming from India and abroad. This time too, the number of tourists going to the valley is expected to increase.

Publicity is being circulated by the Department of Tourism through social media. Secretary Javalkar said that “it is our endeavor to not harm the tourist environment which comes in the valley of flowers. Rather, take a message of environmental protection from here.”
