Pod cars to run between Jwalapur and Har-ki-Pauri

The Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) pod car starting in Haridwar will be used as a pod taxi. Pod car plans have been brought to Haridwar if the metro is not passed. This work will be completed in about two years, but before that DPR is ready, budget will also have to be arranged. A budget of more than 10 thousand crores is needed to run pod cars all over Haridwar. This work will be completed in three phases. In the first phase, an eight kilometer route will be built from Jwalapur to Har-ki-Pauri. Officials of the metro project of the state have made it clear that only a pod car can be successful in Haridwar. Because of make and route of this car neither much space is required nor new route. This route can be made in the middle of the road. For a pod car, a two-foot iron pillar has to be erected in the middle of the road.

With this, this whole path is prepared. In the agreement reached on Sunday, Delhi Metro officials put the entire planning in front of Urban Development Minister Madan Kaushik. In the first phase, the pod car route from Jwalapur to Har-ki-Pauri will be laid. There will be a total of 11 stations. The first station will be Jwalapur and the last 11th station will be Har-ki-Pauri. There is not even much space required for this station. This station can be built on the road side only. In the second phase, Kankhal and the surrounding areas will be connected, while in the third phase the entire city will be connected to this car. After the DPR is ready in four months, the first phase will be completed in about one and a half years. Although for this, from where will the budget come has not been given in the meeting. This car is powered by batteries and solar power,.
