Guru Purnima 2021: Guidelines issued for visiting Haridwar

Corona cases are decreasing in the state, but the government will not allow any kind of negligence. Guidelines have been issued for those coming to tourist areas like Mussoorie-Nainital. On Thursday, the Haridwar administration also issued guidelines for Guru Purnima festival. If you are planning of coming to Haridwar on the occasion of Guru Purnima, then take special care of the guideline. According to this, in view of the danger of Corona, on July 24, the festival of Guru Purnima bath will be symbolic. There has been a ban on the bathing of the Ganga in Haridwar. Only Shri Ganga Sabha and Tirtha Purohit will perform a symbolic puja and take a bath. Although devotees can come to Haridwar to seek the blessings of the gurus, for this they will have to bring the RTPCR negative report 72 hours before. Overall, devotees can come to Haridwar, but cannot take a bath in the Ganges.

In Haridwar, there will be strict police vigil on all the ghats including Har ki Pauri tomorrow. After the suspension of the Kanwar Mela, the strictness of the police has been increased on the border of Haridwar district. A large number of policemen will be stationed here on the occasion of Guru Purnima on July 24 On Guru Purnima, thousands of devotees come to worship their gurus living in Haridwar, but this time the devotees will have to bring the Covid negative report 72 hours before to seek the blessings of the Guru.

DM C Ravi Shankar issued its orders on Thursday. The state government has already suspended Kanwar Yatra. Now on Guru Purnima, devotees have been allowed to come to Haridwar with a Covid negative report, but devotees will not be able to take a bath in the Ganges.
