Big bureaucratic reshuffle in Uttarakhand

After changing the head of the state, administrative reshuffle is taking place in Uttarakhand on a large scale. Several IAS officers were transferred in the state a few weeks back. On Saturday late night, once again, 34 senior IAS officers were shifted, making a big reshuffle in the bureaucratic department. These include four district magistrates. The list includes the names of 34 IAS officers including Smart City CEO Ashish Srivastava. IAS Dr. Ashish Srivastava has been entrusted with the responsibility of Additional Secretary, Information Technology. At the same time, the responsibility of CEO of Smart City has now been given to Dehradun DM R Rajesh Kumar.

Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi has been entrusted with the responsibility of higher education. Dilip Jawalkar has been made the local commissioner, New Delhi. SA Murugesan has been relieved from the responsibility of Secretary, Minor Irrigation. Harish Chandra Semwal has been made Secretary, Minor Irrigation and Endowment and Culture. Pankaj Pandey has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of Secretary Cane Sugar Management Director, Uttarakhand Sugar Federation.

The charge of District Magistrate Almora has been taken from IAS Nitin Singh Bhadauria. While Ashish Chauhan has been given the responsibility of District Magistrate Pithoragarh. Chamoli DM Swati S Bhadauria has been relieved of responsibility, while Himanshu Khurana has been made the new District Magistrate of Chamoli. Vandana Singh will be the DM of Almora. Savin Bansal has been made Project Manager, UPAPURP. Jharna Kamthan has been made Additional Secretary, Social Welfare and Managing Director, Multipurpose Finance Development Corporation. Pratap Singh Shah has been made Additional Secretary State Property State Property Officer and Arunendra Singh Chauhan has been made Additional Secretary Finance. Sanjay Singh Tolia has been given the responsibility of Director Tribal Directorate. IAS officers whose responsibilities have changed, they include 34 officers including IAS Radha Raturi, Dilip Jawalkar, SA Murugeshan, Pankaj Pandey, Harish Chandra Semwal, Chandresh Kumar Yadav, Bhupal Singh Manral and Deepak Rawat.
