Uttarakhand corona update: 4402 cases found on 19 January
On Wednesday, 4402 new corona patients were found in Uttarakhand and six infected people died. With this, the total number of corona patients in the state has crossed 3,82,000. While the active patients have become 22962. According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department, maximum 1678 new patients were found in Dehradun on Wednesday. 35 ITBP personnel, who came to Bageshwar for the last three days in the assembly election duty, have been found infected.
Apart from this, 225 in Almora, 148 in Bageshwar, 73 in Chamoli, 75 in Champawat, 694 in Haridwar, 592 in Nainital, 238 in Pauri, 123 in Pithoragarh, 16 in Rudraprayag, 126 in Tehri, 376 in US Nagar and 38 new patients have been found in Uttarkashi. On Wednesday, six infected people died across the state. Due to this the death toll has gone up to 7456. On Wednesday too, five patients died in Dehradun while one patient from Haridwar died.
For the last two days, six consecutive patients have died in the state. On Wednesday, reports of about 37 thousand samples came from various labs of the state and more than 33 thousand samples have been sent for examination. The rate of corona infection in the state is 11.85 percent while the recovery rate of patients has come down to below 90 percent. 1956 patients were discharged after corona infection, due to which the number of active patients has increased to 22962.
