IRFC share: Know dividend per share; record date
All the companies listed in the stock market are releasing the financial results for the first quarter of the financial year 2024-25. The government owned company Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) is also going to release the results for the first quarter of the financial year 2024-25 soon.
Financial results will be released on August 12
IRFC had told the stock market exchanges this week that an important meeting of the company’s board of directors is going to be held on August 12, 2024. After the meeting, the company will release the results for the first quarter (April 1 to June 30, 2024). Companies usually release financial results only after the market closes i.e. after 03:30 pm.
Record date approaching for payment of dividend
IRFC had announced a final dividend of Rs 0.70 per share for its shareholders along with the release of the results of the fourth quarter of the financial year 2023-24. The record date for this final dividend to be given for the financial year 2023-24 is also getting very close. The company had fixed August 22, 2024 as the record date for payment of dividend of Rs 0.70 per share to the investors.
The final decision on this final dividend to be given for the financial year 2023-24 will be taken in the company’s AGM to be held on August 29. After getting the approval of the AGM, the dividend money will be paid in the bank account of the investors within 30 days i.e latest by September 29, 2024The company’s shares closed at Rs 179.80 on Friday with a decline of Rs 1.10 (0.61 percent). The current market cap of the company is Rs 2,34,971.74 crore.
