Gold crosses ₹ 79,000, rises by 836 rupees in a day
After making an all-time high on Dhanteras, gold made a new high on Chhoti Diwali. Today, i.e. Wednesday (30 October), the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold increased by Rs 936 from yesterday’s price to Rs 79,681. However, at the close of trading, it rose by Rs 836 to Rs 79,581. A day earlier, the price of gold was Rs 78,745.
At the same time, the price of silver also rose by Rs 467 and it reached Rs 98,340 per kg. At the close of trading, it rose by Rs 167 to Rs 98,040. Earlier, silver was at Rs 97,873. On October 23 this month, silver had made an all-time high of Rs 99,151.
