NEET PG exam 2024 date announced; exam to be held in two shifts on August 11
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the date of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – PG (NEET PG) 2024 for admission this year in post-graduate degree/diploma courses being conducted in various medical colleges across the country. According to the notification released by the board today i.e. Friday, July 5, NEET PG 2024 will now be conducted on August 11.
Candidates registered to appear in NEET PG 2024 should note that NBEMS has announced to conduct the examination in two shifts. However, the board has not given much information about the shifts in its notification and the details for this have been informed to be published in due course on the official website, natboard.edu.in.
NEET PG 2024 exam was earlier scheduled to be held on June 23. However, 12 hours before the start of the exam, this exam was postponed by issuing a press release by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The ministry took this decision as a ‘precautionary action’ in view of the nationwide protests taking place with allegations of affecting the sanctity of competitive examinations in the country.
After the postponement of NEET PG 2024 exam, the candidates were continuously demanding to declare a new date for the exam. In this sequence, NBEMS, which conducts the exam, shared a brief information about the revised date on Friday.
