National Testing Agency i.e. NTA has released the result of University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) December 2024 session on 22 February. Candidates can check their result by visiting the official website of UGC NET ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
How to check your UGC NET December 2024 session result
- Visit the official website of UGC NET ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
- Click on the ‘UGC NET December 2024 Result’ link on the homepage.
- Enter your application number and date of birth.
- Then click on the ‘Submit’ button. Your result will be displayed on the screen.
- Download your scorecard and take a printout of it for future use.
6.49 lakh candidates appeared in the exam
This time the exam was conducted in computer-based (CBT) mode, covering 85 subjects. This exam was conducted in 16 sessions at 558 examination centers in 266 cities. A total of 8,49,166 candidates had registered for this, out of which 6,49,490 aspirants appeared in the exam.
5158 candidates qualified JRF
This year 5,158 candidates have qualified for JRF and Assistant Professor. At the same time, 48,161 candidates are eligible for PhD and Assistant Professor. Apart from this, 1,14,445 candidates are eligible only for PhD.
