High School (Class 10) examination of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UPMSP) has been canceled. Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma told the media today that all the students will be promoted in the 11th grade.
Dr. Dinesh Sharma informed that UP Board 12th examinations may be conducted in the second week of July. This time the exam will be 1.5 hours instead of 3 hours in which students will have to write answers to only 3 questions out of 10.
Decision on Class XII Board exams soon
In this way, now the UP Board 10th result will be declared on the basis of previous examinations and internal assessment. With this, the Uttar Pradesh government can take a decision on the Inter (12th) exam time table in two-three days soon.
For the last several days, the UP Board has been gearing up to prepare the results by canceling the 10th examinations. The UP Board 10th examinations have been canceled for the first time in history. Earlier, boards like CBSE, ICSCE, MP Board, Punjab Board, Haryana Board etc. have also announced the cancellation of Class 10 examination.
Deputy CM Dr Dinesh Sharma had said that the corona peak is being assessed from time to time. Of our 19 officers who are related to board examinations, 17 of these officers are infected. After everyone is well and healthy, we will discuss with each other and communicate with the Chief Minister. Only then some decision will be taken. CBSE board sees 10 to 15 lakh students appearing for the exams. The UP board meanwhile, is the largest board in the world with 55-56 lakh students. Monitoring of exam preparation was going on. The Chief Minister himself was monitoring the preparations for the exam.
