CM Dhami inaugurates air ambulance services in Chamoli

Air ambulance has been started by the Uttarakhand government in Chamoli district. The air ambulance service is expected to bring much needed relief after Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s visit to the district. On the first day, three seriously injured admitted to the district hospital were sent to Coronation Hospital Dehradun by air ambulance. BJP leaders flagged off the air ambulance at the police ground.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced to start air ambulance service during the review of the disaster in the district. It was told in the meeting that last night six members of the same family were scorched due to a fire in a gas cylinder in Maithana village of Dasholi development block. Three of them were in critical condition. The helicopter was sent to Gopeshwar by the government soon after the announcement of the air ambulance by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

Deputy District Magistrate Chamoli Ravindra Kumar Juwantha, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Shiv Prasad Kudiyal, BJP District President Raghuveer Singh Bisht, District Cooperative Bank President Gajendra Rawat, BJP Media In-charge Mahavir Singh Rawat, Mahila Morcha President Chandrakala Tiwari flagged off the air ambulance. It was told that any person who is more than 30 percent injured due to disaster or other reasons, will be taken directly to Coronation Hospital Dehradun by air ambulance. Ambulances will also be arranged by the government to take them to the hospital in Dehradun.
