Due to rain, all schools in this district will remain closed on September 12
In view of the orange alert of heavy rain by the Meteorological Department, Chamoli District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari has declared a one-day holiday in all the schools and Anganwadi centers of the district tomorrow i.e. Thursday, September 12.
All schools from class 1 to 12 to remain closed
In the order issued by District Magistrate Sandeep Tiwari, it has been said that in view of the possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall at some places and lightning with thunder at some places in Chamoli district by the Meteorological Center Dehradun and the possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall, in view of the safety of the students, holiday is declared in all government, non-government, private schools and Anganwadi centers from class 1 to 12 on September 12.

Rain alert till September 14
In Uttarakhand, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert on September 12 and 13, expressing the possibility of very heavy rainfall at some places and heavy to very heavy rain at some places in Dehradun, Bageshwar, Champawat, Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar.
