Ski and Snow Board Championship postponed due to lack of snow in Auli

The national championship of Ski and Snow Board proposed from 16 to 19 March in Auli has been postponed due to less snow. The snow has completely melted in Auli.

There is about five inches of snow in the Gorson area too, due to which skiing games have been postponed here. There is a plan to organize ski mountaineering competitions in Auli. For this, the Snow Board Association will submit a proposal to the Tourism Department.

Ski Mountaineering President Ajay Bhatt said that the national championship of Ski and Snow Board was proposed to be held in Auli from 16 to 19 March 2025. But the competition has been postponed due to lack of sufficient snow in Auli. Now ski mountaineering will be organized in Auli and Gorson.
