6 dead in road accident in Dehradun
A major road accident has taken place in Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun. Six people have reportedly died in a collision between a truck and an Innova car. While one is injured. The injured has been admitted to the hospital. The police reached the spot and took the bodies out of the damaged car and took them to the hospital. It is being told that all the passengers in the car were students.
According to the information, a truck and an Innova car collided at ONGC Chowk late last night. Six people died in the accident, while one is injured. The accident was so severe that the car was shattered. The driver left the truck and fled from the spot.
The police reached the spot and sent the bodies of five students from the damaged car to Doon Hospital and one to Mahant Indresh Hospital. Some students are said to be from Uttarakhand and some are from Himachal.
A total of five bodies reached Doon Hospital. Of these, two were women and three were men. The bodies of three deceased have been kept in the mortuary of Doon Hospital. While the rest have been sent to Indresh Hospital due to lack of space. On receiving the information, SP City also reached the hospital.
