Dehradun-Delhi Vande Bharat Express travel time to be 4 hours and 45 minutes; know schedule
Railways has released the tentative schedule of Dehradun-Delhi Vande Bharat train. The train will formally start from May 28. It will run at seven in the morning six days a week except Wednesday. Joint Director (Coaching) Railway Board Vivek Kumar Sinha told that the train will have only five stoppages between Dehradun and Delhi. These include Haridwar, Roorkee, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar and Meerut. The maximum speed of the train will be 110 kilometers per hour. At the same time, the average speed has been fixed at 63.41 kmph. The fare of the train will also be decided soon. It is being told that the fare can be 1.2 to 1.3 percent more than that of Shatabdi Express.
Vande Bharat Express will reach Delhi in less than an hour than Shatabdi Express, the fastest train running from Dehradun at present. However, Shatabdi Express is run till New Delhi Railway Station. Whereas, this train will go till Anand Vihar only. This train will take 4 hours 45 minutes for the journey. Leaving Doon at 7 am, Vande Bharat will reach Anand Vihar railway station at 11:45 am. Vande Bharat will be passed at a slow speed from Ghaziabad railway station.

Speed will be 60 km in Rajaji Park area
All trains are passed at Rajaji Park at controlled speed. In this, the pace has also been set for Dehradun-Delhi Vande Bharat Express. This train will pass through this area at a speed of 60 km per hour. Whereas, at other places it will be run at the maximum prescribed speed. The same speed has been prescribed for Shatabdi Express in Rajaji Park area.
Earlier Muzaffarnagar and Roorkee stoppages were not included
Railways had earlier planned to run this train on the Janshatabdi route. For this, instead of running from Saharanpur, the train had to be run via Tapri railway station. Railways had also issued a possible schedule for this to the officials, but after the news came in the media, the stoppages of the train were changed. Earlier only three stoppages Haridwar, Tapri and Meerut were kept between Dehradun to Delhi.
