Dehradun jewellery showroom robbery case: Police scan CCTV footage for clues
Today, on the occasion of establishment of Uttarakhand state, some masked dacoits carried out a major robbery in Dehradun. On one hand, in the capital Dehradun, President Droupadi Murmu was addressing a function on the occasion of the 24th State Foundation Day. On the other hand, the dacoits escaped after looting jewellery worth crores from the jeweller’s showroom on Rajpur Road, one of the most prominent areas of the city. Now, the police has received some important inputs about the dacoits in the robbery.
Dehradun Senior Superintendent of Police Ajai Singh has formed different teams to uncover the incident of robbery that took place in the jewellery showroom located on Rajpur Road. Four separate teams have been formed under the leadership of jurisdictional level officers for surveillance, CCTV and information regarding the incident and for interrogating the suspects.
The early morning robbery worth crores of rupees was carried out by 5 masked dacoits at a jewellery showroom located on Rajpur Road, Dehradun. It is being told that four masked dacoits entered the showroom with the force of weapons, while one dacoit was keeping an eye from outside.
