Horrific road accident in Rishikesh, truck hits several vehicles; UKD leader amongst 3 deceased
A horrific road accident took place late night in Rishikesh of Dehradun district. In this accident, 3 people including former central president of UKD Trivendra Panwar died. A young man also died on the spot. Doctors declared Trivendra Panwar dead when he was taken to the hospital. The third youth died during treatment in the hospital. CM Dhami has expressed grief over this accident. He has prayed to give strength to the families of the three including Trivendra Singh Panwar to bear this suffering.
This accident took place on Sunday night near Indramani Badoni Chowk on Dehradun Road in Rishikesh. An over speeding truck loaded with cement hit several vehicles and people standing on the roadside outside the marriage hall located here. In the accident, a person resident of Shergarh Doiwala died on the spot. Trivendra Singh Panwar, former central president of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal i.e. UKD, was seriously injured. He was rushed to AIIMS Rishikesh. The doctors at AIIMS declared him dead. An injured Delhi resident also died during treatment at AIIMS.
