House of Himalayas store opens at Jolly Grant airport
Now you will get a taste of the hill cuisine of Uttarakhand at Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. People coming to Dehradun will be able to buy the products of “House of Himalayas” based on the hill products of Uttarakhand at the airport itself. On Tuesday evening, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the “House of Himalayas” store at Jolly Grant Airport Dehradun. The opening of this store will give a new identity to the local products of the state and their sale will also strengthen the economy of the state.
Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan congratulated the Uttarakhand government for this commendable effort and said that with the efforts of the Uttarakhand government, “House of Himalayas” stores will be opened at many airports, which will promote this umbrella brand.
Farmers will get benefit
Union Minister Chouhan said that the quality, packaging and branding of these products is also excellent. The products of “House of Himalayas” will benefit not only Uttarakhand but the whole of India. He said that the Government of India will set up a Center of Excellence in Uttarakhand for the promotion and other works of “House of Himalayas”. On one hand, this will provide good quality hill products to the common people, on the other hand, local farmers will also benefit from it.
PM Modi inaugurated the “House of Himalayas”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the “House of Himalayas” during the Uttarakhand Global Investor Summit 2023 in the Forest Research Institute of the capital Dehradun in the year 2023 so that the traditional crafts and rural economy of Uttarakhand can get global recognition. Along with this, local producers and artisans of the mountain can get employment. Along with this, the heritage of the mountain, which includes Kumaon’s Aipan art, Pichhora and Ringal products, can get a good marketing platform.
