Know the traffic plan for Dussehra in Dehradun
Due to the main program of Dussehra festival to be held in Parade Ground, many routes will be diverted. The diversion system will start from 12 noon on Saturday and will continue till the end of the program in the evening. During this time, there will be a zero zone around the Parade Ground. That is, this route will be banned for any kind of street vendors and vehicles. Many parking places have also been made. Apart from this, the police has also made a plan to divert the route with a barrier system.
Program and route of Shobha Yatra
The procession will start from Srikalika Temple at 2 pm. Its route will reach Parade Ground from Kanak Chowk via Moti Bazaar, Paltan Bazaar, Rajpur Road Astley hall.

Route for city buses
- The Cantt Rajpur Road bus service running from Parade Ground will be operated from near the petrol pump located at Rajpur Road Orient Chowk on this occasion.
- This service running from Clementtown to Rajpur Road Kuthal Gate will not go towards Pant Road Lansdowne but will go from Darshanlal Chowk via clocktower to Rajpur Road Kuthal Gate and the return route will also be the same.
- Raipur Road Maldevata Sahasradhara Road bus service will be operated from Chuna Bhatta. After getting down at Survey Chowk, the passengers can go back to Raipur Road Chuna Bhatta.
