Police detain 5 in rape case of teenager in Dehradun
Police has arrested two accused in the case of gang rape of a teenager found at Dehradun ISBT. At the same time, three accused are being questioned. After the interrogation, the police is in the process of arresting them too.
SSP Ajai Singh told in a press conference that the bus employees had brought the teenager from Delhi to Dehradun. Five youths raped the teenager in this bus.
A government employee and cashier of the contracted bus of Uttarakhand have been arrested in the case. While interrogation of three including the cleaning staff is still going on. Police has also recovered and taken possession of the contracted bus from Uttarakhand.

The police said that, teenager was found in a distraught state at ISBT on the evening of August 13. The frightened teenager did not say anything on the spot. After this, when she was counseled, the heinous crime was revealed. In the counseling, it was found that the teenager was gang raped in the bus. The teenager is a resident of Punjab. At that time, she had reached Delhi from Punjab, then Moradabad and then Dehradun. A case was registered against 5 unknown people under Section 70 of the BNS and POCSO Act.
