Route diversion plan issued for budget session in Dehradun
The budget session of the Uttarakhand Assembly is starting in Dehradun from tomorrow, 18 February 2025. The police-administration has made all its preparations for the budget session in Dehradun. The police has issued a route diversion plan so that the common man does not face much trouble and there is no jam in the area of the Vidhan Sabha building. Also, in view of the board examinations, a separate control room number has been issued for the convenience of the candidates. Candidates studying in schools in the urban area will not be stopped under any circumstances.
The budget session is starting in Dehradun from 18 February, while the CBSE board’s 10th and 12th examinations are also going on. In such a situation, the Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri had instructed the Dehradun SSP to issue an advisory so that the candidates do not face any problem due to VIP movement during the session.
Barriers have been put up in these areas: To maintain traffic and law and order during the assembly session, processions coming to Pragati Vihar Barrier, Shastri Nagar Barrier, Bypass Barrier, Defence Colony Barrier and Vidhan Sabha Trijunction.
