Snowfall in Dhanolti, Chakrata brings down temperature
After the change in weather on Thursday in the mountains of Uttarakhand, there was heavy snowfall in Dhanolti, Chakrata, Buranshkhanda, Nagtibba, Surkanda. Along with rain in Mussoorie, there was also light snowfall in the high altitude areas Laltibba, Char Dukan area. This has increased the outbreak of cold wave in the area.
On Thursday, there was rain in the morning in Mussoorie and light snowfall in the seven thousand feet high Laltibba, Char Dukan area. However, the snow could not last for long. Seeing the snow fall, excitement was seen among the local people as well as tourists. People’s problems have increased due to cold in Mussoorie. To avoid the cold, people took the help of bonfire. On the other hand, there was fresh spell of snowfall in Dhanolti, Chakrata, Buranshkhanda after heavy rain. Snow accumulated on the roofs of houses, vehicles, trees, plants in Dhanolti. The mountains were wrapped in a white sheet of snow.
Due to snowfall, the mountains, villages, roads of Tyuni-Chakrata area have been covered in a white sheet. This seventh snowfall of the season has brought smiles on the faces of the farmers and tourism businessmen of the region. The snowfall has made the oak, rhododendron and deodar trees in the forests of the region look beautiful.
