Traffic to be diverted in Dehradun from 19 to 21 June
Due to the VVIP visit to Doon, traffic will be diverted from Thursday to Saturday (19 to 21 June). Vehicles coming from Rishikesh will come to Dehradun via Ranipokhari via Bhogpur-Thano and vehicles coming from Haridwar will come via Doiwala via Dudhli. Vehicles going from Dehradun to Haridwar and Rishikesh will also be sent via Dudhli.
Traffic will also be diverted within the city. Police has appealed to the public to follow the diversion plan. Traffic will be diverted during the VVIP visit. The route of vehicles coming from Rishikesh will be Rishikesh to Dehradun city and vehicles coming to Mussoorie will come via Ranipokhari via Bhogpur-Thano-Raipur and number six bridge.
From here vehicles will be sent to Sahastradhara crossing. Vehicles from the city will come to Survey Chowk and vehicles from Mussoorie will go directly to Mussoorie via IT Park Sai Mandir. Route of vehicles coming from Haridwar Vehicles going from Haridwar to Dehradun city and Mussoorie will come from Bhaniyawala flyover service lane via Doiwala Chowk to Dudhli road and then to Kargi Chowk. From here vehicles going to Mussoorie will go to Mussoorie via ISBT, Shimla bypass, GMS road, Cantt to Anarwala.
Vehicles going to Mussoorie from Asharodi and Premnagar Vehicles going to Mussoorie from Asharodi and Premnagar area will go to Mussoorie via ISBT, Shimla bypass-GMS road-Ballupur Chowk-Cantt-Anarwala. Whereas, vehicles going from Dehradun city to Haridwar and Rishikesh will be sent from Kargi Chowk to Dudhli road via Doiwala Chowk to Bhaniyawala service lane via Laltappad to Nepali Farm Tiraha towards Rishikesh and Haridwar.
Vehicles routes to and from Mussoorie
Vehicles going from Mussoorie to Haridwar and Rishikesh will be sent towards their destination from Kuthal Gate via Old Mussoorie Road, Sai Temple, Kathbungla-Kirshali Chowk-IT Park-Sahastradhara Crossing, 06 Number Pulya-Maharana Pratap via Thano Road. Traffic will be diverted in the city. Vehicles going to Mussoorie from EC Road will be sent towards Mussoorie via Survey Chowk, Sahastradhara Crossing, IT Park and Sai Temple. Vehicles going to Mussoorie from Ghantaghar will be sent to Mussoorie from The Great Value, Canal Road, via Kathbungla Bridge and Sai Temple.
Vehicles going to Mussoorie from Hathibadkala and Dilaram will be sent from Dilaram, Great Value, Canal Road, via Kathbungla Bridge and Sai Temple towards Mussoorie.
