All schools to remain closed in Haridwar from 9th to 15th April
Due to the Kumbh Mela, all schools in the district will be closed from 9th to 15th April. Operation of heavy vehicles and flammable vehicles will also be prohibited. In the orders issued by District Magistrate C Ravi Shankar, it was said that Kumbh Mela is going on. A large number of devotees from different regions of the country are expected to come to Kumbh. More devotees are expected to reach the royal bath on 12th and 14th April.
In view of this, the District Magistrate has directed to keep all government, non-government and private schools closed from April 9 to 15. The DM has given strict instructions to orders to officers, zonal magistrates, sector magistrates.
The traffic plan has been implemented by the Kumbh Police for the royal bath to be held on 12th and 14th April in Haridwar. From April 8 (Thursday) to April 15, the entry of heavy vehicles has been prohibited in the Kumbh Mela area. Route has been fixed for vehicles coming from outlying states. At the same time, no flyzone has also been declared. Different routes will be used for coming and going to Haridwar. There will be no restrictionfor essential service vehicles.
