Operation of 64 trains at Roorkee station will remain affected till July 3

The operation of 64 trains coming and going to Roorkee railway station will be affected till July 3. Electronic interlocking work is going to start at Roorkee railway station. For this, yard re-modeling has to be done. Lines are being non-interlocked. This work will be completed by July 3. Till then the operation of trains will be affected.

During this time, 22 trains including Dehradun- Anand Vihar Vande Bharat Express Up-Down have been canceled. The route of 18 trains has been changed while eight trains will return from Saharanpur itself. Apart from this, the timing of many trains has also been changed which will run late as compared to earlier. This will increase the difficulties of the passengers.

Passengers will start getting relief after the rejuvenation of Roorkee railway station. On the other hand, the work of Deoband line is also going on at war footing. PNP and NP work has been started in Roorkee-Deoband section from Thursday. The lines are being connected. Due to this, this line has been blocked.

Railway traffic inspector RK Meena said that PNI work will be carried out for four days from Thursday to June 30. After this, NP work will be carried out from July 1 to July 3. Due to this, the operation of trains passing through Roorkee railway station will be affected during this period.

These trains have been cancelled

-Ganganagar-Rishikesh Express, till July 3

-Dehradun-Saharanpur, till July 3

-Moradabad-Saharanpur, till July 3

-Amritsar-Haridwar Jan Shatabdi Express, from June 28 to July 3

-Kochuveli-Yognagari Rishikesh, from June 28 to July 3

-Bandra Terminus-Haridwar, from June 30 to July 3

-Ahmedabad-Yognagari Rishikesh, from June 30 to July 2

-Dehradun-Anand Vihar Vande Bharat, from July 1 to July 3

-Delhi-Haridwar, from July 1 to July 3

-Yognagari Rishikesh-Kochuveli, from July 1 to July 3

-Yognagari Rishikesh-Ahmedabad, from July 1 to July 3

-Haridwar-Bandra Terminus, from July 1 to July 3 Till July

-Lakshmibai Nagar-Yognagari Rishikesh, till July 3 and 4

These trains will run late

  • Amritsar-Purnia Court Janseva, 120 minutes till June 30
  • Haridwar-Bandra Terminus, 45 minutes till June 30
  • Haridwar-Bikaner, 75 minutes till June 29
  • Chandigarh-Banaras, 120 minutes on June 30
  • Bikaner-Haridwar, 75 minutes on June 28 and 30 minutes on July 1
  • Amritsar-Lal Kuan, one hour on June 29
  • Amritsar-Banmankhi, 45 minutes on July 2 and 3
  • Okha-Dehradun, 45 minutes on June 28
  • Valsad-Haridwar, 45 minutes on July 2
  • Amritsar-Kolkata, 15 minutes on July 1
  • Jalandhar City-Darbhanga, 30 June 30 minutes on 29 June
  • Lokmanya- Rishikesh, 45 minutes on 29 June
