After the ceasefire, 32 airports of the country opened

The tension between India and Pakistan is not completely over yet. Despite the ceasefire between the two countries, the security forces are completely alert. However, now after the situation has subdued, many airports have been opened. 32 airports in the country have been ordered to be opened for civilian flights with immediate effect.

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) issued a press release stating that 32 airports were closed till May 15, which will be opened with immediate effect.

There was an order to keep them closed till May 15

According to the press release of AAI, “32 airports were warned to remain closed till 05:29 am on May 15, 2025. However, now they are being opened with immediate effect.”

  • Chandigarh airport also opened

The name of Chandigarh airport is also included in this list of 32 airports. According to the information, 32 airports including Chandigarh have now been opened for civilian flights. However, there is a possibility of flight delay due to aircraft timing and high level checking.
