JEE & NEET exams postponed

JEE and NEET entrance exam has been postponed due to Corona situation in the country. On Friday evening, the Union Minister tweeted that now these examinations will be held in September. JEE Main was scheduled to be held from 18 July to 23 July and NEET 2020 on 26 July, but now all three will take place from 1 to 27 September.
In view of the request of the students and parents, the Ministry had constituted an expert committee to assess the status of these examinations, which today submitted its report to the Ministry.

Union education minister gave information
Earlier, the Union Education Minister tweeted that the NTA committee is reviewing the situation regarding the NEET and JEE examinations, which will submit its report by Friday. Since the cancellation of the remaining examinations of CSBE, students have also started a campaign on social media. On the other hand, parents of Middle East countries’ students have also filed a petition in the Supreme Court regarding setting up examination centers abroad or postponement of examination.
