Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2025 will start from June 30

Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2025 is going to start from 30th June. The special thing is that after about 5 years, the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra will be conducted from Lipulekh Pass route of Uttarakhand. The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, which is organized every year from Lipulekh Pass of Pithoragarh and Nathu La of Sikkim, was not conducted since the year 2020 after the knock of Corona. But this year, the Uttarakhand government and the Indian Ministry of External Affairs have decided to conduct the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2025.
According to the Uttarakhand Information Department, the safe operation of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra-2025 was discussed in a meeting held at the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi on Monday regarding the sacred pilgrimage to be organized this year. It was also decided that the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2025 will be operated by the Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam. This journey will start from Delhi and will be conducted from the Lipulekh Pass route of Pithoragarh. The journey will start from June 30, 2025, in which a total of 5 batch of 50 people each, i.e. 250 people will travel.
The first batch to travel to Kailash Mansarovar will enter China via Lipulekh Pass on July 10 and the last batch will leave for India from China on August 22. Each team will depart from Delhi and enter China after staying for 1 night in Tanakpur, 1 night in Dharchula, 2 nights in Gunji and 2 nights in Nabhidang (Taklakot). After Kailash Darshan, on the return journey, they will leave from China and reach Delhi after staying for 1 night in Bundi, 1 night in Chaukori, 1 night in Almora. The Yatra will be done in 22 days. The health checkup of the passengers traveling will be done in Delhi and then in Gunji of Pithoragarh with the help of ITBP.
