Kumarswamy government loses trust vote in Karnataka

In Karnataka, the coalition government of Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) has collapsed. On Tuesday, a trust vote was presented in the Karnataka assembly, in which Kumaraswamy failed to prove the majority. In the favor of Kumaraswamy, where 99 votes were cast, 105 votes were cast in favor of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Simultaneously within 14 months, the government of Kumaraswamy fell.
After the fall of the Kumaraswamy government, there is an atmosphere of celebration in the BJP’s office. It is now believed that BJP President Karnataka YS Yeddyurappa can become the new ‘Swamy’ (Chief Minister) of Karnataka. BJP can claim to join the governor in the next two days to form a government.
