PM Modi announces emergency fund to fight coronavirus, you can also contribute

PM Narendra Modi announced an emergency fund for civil assistance and relief to the people to contribute in the government’s fight against the coronavirus.

Industrialist Ratan Tata has announced Rs 500 crore donation towards the fund from the Tata Trusts. The IAS Association has contributed Rs 21 lakh to this fund. All members have given one day’s salary.

The PM said that relief has been formed in the Prime Minister’s Civil Assistance and Emergency Situation Fund. This will go a long way in creating a healthy India. People from all walks of life can donate to this fund. The fund also accepts small donations. It will strengthen disaster management capabilities and encourage research on the protection of citizens.
