He mentioned the Pahalgam terror attack. He described asking about religion and killing in front of family members as the gruesome face of terrorism. PM Modi said that he was very sad after this terror attack. He said, ‘we had given full freedom to the Indian Army to destroy the terrorists. Today every terrorist organization knows the consequences of wiping off the vermilion from the foreheads of our mothers and sisters.’

PM Modi further said, ‘the terrorists had not even dreamt that India could take such a big decision. But, when the country is united, strong decisions can be taken. Results can be brought. When India’s drone attacked a Pakistani hideout, their courage was shaken. PM Modi said, wherever there have been big terrorist attacks in the world, their strings have been connected to Pakistan.’

PM said that ‘the terrorists had destroyed the vermilion of our sisters, so India destroyed their headquarters. India killed more than 100 dreaded terrorists. PM Modi also talked about the attack by Pakistan. He said that Pakistan targeted our temples and gurudwaras. Targeted our military bases. But, Pakistan was exposed in this too. Pakistan’s drones scattered like straws.’

PM said that India destroyed Pakistan so much in the first three days, which they had not imagined. Therefore, after India’s aggressive action, Pakistan started looking for ways to escape. It was pleading all over the world. After being beaten badly, the Pakistani army contacted DGMO on May 10. By then we had destroyed the hideout of terrorism. The terror bases were turned into ruins.

PM Modi said, ‘we have just postponed our military action. We will see Pakistan’s attitude in the coming days and then further decision will be taken. PM Modi said, our army is constantly on alert. He said that Operation Sindoor is India’s policy. Operation Sindoor has drawn a new line in the war.’

PM Modi said, ‘we will respond to terrorism on our terms. India will not tolerate nuclear blackmail terror. We will not see the terrorist-sponsoring government and the masters of terror separately. We will continue to take steps to protect India and our citizens from any threat. Operation Sindoor has added a new dimension.’

PM Modi said, this is not the era of war but this is not the era of terrorism either. Zero tolerance against terrorism is necessary. Pakistan government is nourishing terrorism, this terrorism will wipe out Pakistan itself. Pakistan will have to end terrorism. Apart from this, there is no other way to peace.

The Prime Minister said that, “I would also like to tell the global community that our stated policy has been: if there are talks with Pakistan, it will be only on terrorism; and if there are talks with Pakistan, it will be only on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).”
