Police investigating murder case in Dwarka
In the Mohan Garden police station, criminals murdered visually impaired teacher and his wife with a knife. During the incident, husband and wife were at home. The deceased have been identified as Harivallabh Singh (51) and Shanti Devi (47). Harvallabh Singh was a teacher of music at Kanjhala Vidyalaya. Police say that evidence from the spot is pointing out that the culprits who carried out the crime were known to Harvallabh. The police have not yet received any evidence of looting from the house.
Harvallabh lived with his family, at Bhagwati Garden Extension located at Dwarka turn. After selling his house there, he took a flat in Bhagwati Garden Extension about six months ago. Despite being here, he remained friends with the neighbors in Mohan Garden. Apart from Harvallabh and wife Shanti in the family, daughter Drishti and son Rishabh used to live. Their daughter is doing MBA, while son is an engineer. Harivallabh’s wife, Shanti Devi, was in touch with them through phone or Whatspp every day.
As soon as the people of Mohan Garden heard about the incident, they approached the victim’s family and reached the Bhagwati Garden Extension. A woman who came to meet the victim’s family said that in the morning Shanti Devi talked with her on Whatsapp. They asked each other’s wellbeing. Clearly, everything was normal.
According to the police, Vishal had to come here. On Saturday evening, when the daughter of Harivallabh alongwith Vishal entered the flat, she saw blood in her house. Shanti Devi was lying on the bed with blood. Harvallabh was lying on the floor covered with blood. At the time of the incident, their son was out of the house. After this the information was given to the police. Police team reached on the spot. Crime team started gathering evidence from the spot. According to the police, no evidence of theft was found. In such a situation, the motive behind the murder is not clear.
