Services of Delhi Metro Blueline affected on Independence Day

On the occasion of Independence Day and Rakshabandhan, services of Delhi Metro Blueline Route are not working properly. From two o’clock in the afternoon to four o’clock in the afternoon, the services of the blueline of the metro was affected due to technical glitch. Many times, the metro stopped inside the tunnel stopped for 15 minutes between the two stations, causing breathing problems to the passengers.
Due to a technical issue, train services will be run in following loops temporarily:
1) Between Janakpuri West & Dwarka Sec 21
2) Between Noida Electronic City & Rajouri GardenThere is single line movement between Janakpuri West & Kirti Nagar.

Passengers going from Noida City Center to Dwarka on the blueline faced a lot of problems. Due to non-arrival of the metro train on time, long queues took place outside the stations. After the huge rush of passengers at the Sector-15 metro station, the CISF personnel had to close their entry for some time. The crowd was so large that people had to line up from the road below the station.
Security personnel, said that due to technical fault in the route, Metro is not coming from time. Therefore, the crowd of people was increasing.
DMRC also acknowledged the problem of Delhi Metro’s blueline route in its tweet and later tweeted about resumption of normal services.
