Bus falls into gorge on Kaladhungi road in Nainital, seven dead
A tragic accident took place in Nainital, Uttarakhand on Sunday, October 8. A bus with tourists from Hisar, Haryana to visit Nainital fell into a gorge. There were reportedly 40 people in the bus. During this time, seven people including a woman and a child died in the accident while 26 injured were taken to the hospital.
According to the information, while returning from Nainital to Haryana, an accident occurred on Kaladhungi Nainital road. The injured were rescued and brought to Community Health Center Kaladhungi. Many people are seriously injured. Seriously injured people were referred to STH Haldwani.

As per preliminary report, the accident took place due to brake failure. According to the bus driver suddenly the brake pressure of the bus was lost. To reduce the speed of the bus, he tried to reduce the gear and apply hand brake, but that also did not work. Despite many efforts, the uncontrolled bus could not be controlled.
