Saras Mela 2025 begins in Haldwani
The grand Saras Mela 2025 has been formally inaugurated in the MB Inter College campus. In this 10-day fair, the main products of states across the country and the star night of folk artists will be the center of attraction. In the huge Saras Mela, 251 entrepreneurs from all over the country are exhibiting the famous products of their respective states.
Apart from this, a seller-seller meet will also be organized. Also, fashion shows and other events will be organized to promote Kumaoni Aipan. There will be colorful programs every evening in the 10-day Saras Mela. In which famous artist Kamala Devi along with Pahadi and Punjabi singers will also perform with their teams. The administration has appealed to the people to visit this fair. Also, see the various products from across the country and the popular stalls of self-help groups.
The program was inaugurated by Kaladhungi MLA Banshidhar Bhagat and Haldwani Municipal Corporation Mayor Gajraj Bisht by lighting the lamp. Apart from this, food stalls of Uttarakhand have been set up in the fair. Where people will be able to enjoy traditional Uttarakhand cuisine. Kaladhungi MLA Banshidhar Bhagat said that the main objective of the fair is to promote the folk art and culture of Uttarakhand. Also, promoting the products here is also the reason for this. He said that the traditional products of Uttarakhand are in demand not only in the country but also in the world.
