Shuttle services to Kainchi Dham to begin from March 26
To get rid of the problem of jam caused by the sudden increase in the crowd of devotees coming to Kainchi Dham, the police has prepared a traffic plan. Under this, devotees will now reach Kainchi Dham by shuttle services.
In view of the huge crowd of devotees gathering every day in Kainchi Dham, Inspector General of Police Kumaon Riddhim Agarwal and SSP Nainital Prahlad Narayan Meena took stock of the traffic arrangements in Bhowali area to relieve the local people and tourists from the problem of jam and to ensure smooth movement of vehicles.
During the on-site inspection, the Nainital Police marked the designated parking places for the vehicles coming for Kainchi Darshan in order to make immediate and long-term arrangements for smooth movement of all vehicles. In this sequence, under the immediate arrangements, shuttle service will be operated from Wednesday for all the devotees coming for Kainchi Dham Darshan. Along with this, parking arrangements have also been made.

This shuttle service will be effective from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on normal days. During weekends or festive season, this arrangement will be effective from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. Movement of heavy vehicles will be restricted from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm during weekends or festive season.
Details of shuttle service
- Vehicles of all tourists coming for Kainchi Darshan using Bhimtal route will be parked at Industrial Area Bhimtal parking lot and after that devotees will go for Kainchi Darshan by shuttle service.
- All tourist vehicles coming for Kainchi Darshan using Jyolikot-Bhowali route will be parked at the parking lot located 1.5 km before Kainchi bypass near Bhowali Sanatorium and devotees will go for Kainchi Darshan by shuttle service.
