Wrestling event to be held in Haldwani; The Great Khali to be star attraction
Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali will be seen in the ring in Haldwani. This comeback will be on 14th September, 2024 in Haldwani city of Uttarakhand. This will be the second show of The Great Khali in Haldwani after eight years. In which 20 registered wrestlers are also ready to showcase their talent in the ring. Wrestling is to be organized on the lines of WWE in the MB Inter College ground located in the middle of the city. The walls of the city have also started getting covered with posters of ‘CWE Night of Warriors’ event. Organizer and wrestler Vijay Singh Rana, a resident of Haldwani, said that the entire wrestling event will be organized on the lines of WWE in the MB Inter College ground. For this, a 4 feet high ring will be made in the middle of the ground. While there will be a 6 feet high ramp for the wrestler’s entry. On the arrival of the wrestler, there will be music, lighting and fireworks just like in WWE.
A team of more than 150 people of UK WWE has started preparations for CWE Night of Warriors. Vijay Singh Rana said that its planning is going on for almost two years. He was recovering at home due to an injury, then the idea of organizing it came to his mind. This is the first time that UKWE is organizing this event. He has also taken training from The Great Khali’s academy. He said that people will be able to get entry in the event through ticket system. The time will be from 5 pm to 10 pm.
