Chardham Yatra 2025: Online booking of helicopter service for Kedarnath will start from April 8
Online booking of helicopter service for Kedarnath Dham will start from April 8, 2025. Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority and IRCTC have completed its preparations. IRCTC will soon release the website link for booking.
The doors of Kedarnath temple are opening on May 2. From this day onwards, helicopter service will start operating from Guptkashi, Sirsi and Phata for Kedarnath. IRCTC will open the portal on April 8 for online booking of helicopter tickets. UCADA has sent the data of travel registration to IRCTC. Travel registration is mandatory for booking helicopter tickets.
This time the fare has increased by five percent
UCADA CEO Sonika said that Kedarnath helicopter service will be operated through Pawan Hans, Himalayan Heli, Trans Bharat, Global Victra, Thumby Aviation, Kestrel Aviation, Aero Aircraft. As per the three-year contract with helicopter companies, this time the fare has been increased by five percent.
