Kedarnath trek route repaired 15 days after being damaged by rains

The workers have repaired the Kedarnath trekking route after hard work. Due to which, after 15 days, some pilgrims from UP, Gujarat and Haryana reached Kedarnath Dham by foot. 260 laborers repaired the 19 km walking route damaged at 29 places due to the disaster after a fortnight.
Due to heavy rains on the Kedarnath trek route on the night of July 31, it was damaged at many places. After which, in the rescue operation conducted under the supervision of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and the leadership of DM Saurabh Gaharwar, thousands of devotees and local people were evacuated safely by foot movement along with heli service.
So far, 10,93,632 devotees have visited Kedarnath. These days, around 150 to 200 pilgrims are reaching Kedarnath Dham. Along with helicopter services, devotees are also reaching the Dham on foot. Administrative officers said that security personnel have been deployed at places prone to natural disaster on the route, who are ensuring safe journey for the devotees.
