Star footballer Lionel Messi has signed a two-year contract with French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) after leaving Barcelona club. Soon he will be seen playing for another club. Messi’s father George gave this information to the Spanish media. Lionel Messi said goodbye to his Spanish club Barcelona after 21 years. He got emotional while attending his last press conference as a Barcelona player.

Lionel Messi will recieve 25 million pounds (about Rs 258 crore) every year to play for French club Paris Saint-Germain. The 34-year-old would have the option of extending the deal to three years and Messi was set to sign a new five-year contract at Barcelona, ​​but the club was unable to complete the deal.

Messi had two other options after leaving Barcelona last week, but decided to move to PSG. Messi said in the past that he wanted to stay at Barcelona and that he “did everything” to stay at the club. He had even agreed to a 50 percent pay cut. However, due to some rules, Barcelona was unable to do so. Messi is now ready to join PSG.
