Mithali Raj announces retirement from all formats of cricket

India’s women’s ODI and Test team captain Mithali Raj announced her retirement from international cricket. She issued a statement and informed the fans about her decision. Mithali wrote, “Thank you for all your love and support over the years. I would like your blessings and support for my second innings.”

Mithali played cricket for India for 23 years and holds the record for most runs in women’s cricket.
Right-handed batsman Mithali Raj was last part of the ODI World Cup played in New Zealand, under her captaincy the team was eliminated before the semi-finals. A few years back he also took retirement from T20 International cricket.
