Mumbai Indians, captained by Rohit Sharma, have captured the IPL Trophy for the fifth time by defeating Delhi Capitals by 5 wickets in the final match of IPL season 13. Mumbai Indians is the most successful team in IPL history, having won this title the most 5 times.

In the final match of IPL season 13, Delhi Capitals, batting first, scored 156 runs after losing 7 wickets in 20 overs and set the target of 157 runs for Mumbai Indians to win. For Delhi Capitals, captain Shreyas Iyer scored the highest 65 runs while Rishabh Pant scored 56 runs. In reply, Mumbai Indians lost 157 wickets in 18.4 overs and scored 157 runs. Rohit Sharma scored the highest 68 runs for Mumbai Indians.
