Neeraj Chopra ties knot with Himani Mor; shares marriage update on social media

India’s star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has started a new chapter of life. He announced his marriage through his social media handle on Sunday. Sharing pictures of his wedding on Instagram, he wrote – ‘Starting a new chapter of life with my family. Grateful for every blessing that brought us together at this moment.’ Neeraj’s life partner’s name is Himani.

Himani is currently studying in the US. She is studying ‘Sports Management’. She is an alumnus of Miranda House in Delhi where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Physical Education. According to the All India Tennis Association (AITA) website, Himani’s best national ranking in 2018 was 42 in singles and 27 in doubles.

Won silver at Paris Olympics

Neeraj, who won gold at the Tokyo Olympics, won the silver medal at the Paris Olympics. He is the first Indian track and field athlete to win medals in two consecutive Olympics. Neeraj won the silver medal in the Paris Olympics by throwing the javelin at a distance of 89.45 meters. Neeraj finished second. He had won Gold at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.
