Olympic day to be celebrated with games across 13 districts
On 23rd June, World Olympic Day, various sports competitions will be organized on different dates in all 13 districts of Uttarakhand. The Sports Department has prepared the complete program and issued instructions to all the districts. These competitions will run from 20th to 23rd June. Hundreds of participants will participate during this time.
Sports Minister Rekha Arya said that the entire event will be started by taking out a rally in all the districts on 19th June. On this occasion, players who have won medals in international and national competitions for the state in the last one year will also be honored. On this occasion, a specially prepared oath will be administered to the players, coaches and all the people associated with sports activities of the state.
