Android 16 launched; know features

Google has released its latest Android version, named Android 16. If you have Pixel 6 or above Pixel phones, then you can use this new and latest operating system i.e. Android 16.
Google has released the first stable version of Android 16 for the Pixel lineup of phones. This update will be available for Pixel 6 and subsequent Pixel phones as well as Pixel tablets. Know the list of devices in which the first stable version of Android 16 update will be available.

The two biggest changes of Android 16 – Material 3 Expressive and the new desktop mode have not been included in this stable version. Apart from this, Google has also released Android 16 QPR 2 beta version for developers. A new desktop mode has also been included in it. However, desktop mode requires a DisplayPort connection to an external monitor. After that this mode allows users to run many apps running on Android 16 in resized windows. It has a taskbar, which shows the apps running in the device. Apart from this, it also includes an app drawer.
New Features of Android 16
Independent Operation of Connected Devices: This is a special feature of this new operating system of Google. Through this, when you connect the phone to an external display, you can do different tasks on both screens. Apart from this, you can drag apps and files between the two screens.
Adaptive Apps Support: Through this new OS, apps will now be able to automatically adjust themselves according to the display size, orientation and form factor of your device. This feature can prove to be very beneficial especially for foldable phones.
Smart Notification Grouping: Under this feature, now many notifications coming from the same app will appear in one group, so that there will not be many notifications on the notification panel.
Live Updates: Under this feature, as soon as you start any service on your device (navigation, cab booking, food delivery), live updates will start appearing in the notification. These notifications will also appear in the status bar along with the lock screen.
Hearing Aid Support: Users who have hearing aids will now get a new control in the new OS, in which battery status, sound presets, mic control and volume can be easily managed. With the help of this feature, users can now capture better sound by using the phone’s microphone when needed.
Advanced Protection: Users of the new OS will get a new security feature in the device. The new security feature protects you from dangerous apps, scam calls and dangerous websites.
