Google has made many big announcements related to AI and new technology in its event Google Cloud Next ’25, which has once again caught everyone’s attention. Most powerful AI chip
In the Google Cloud Next 2025 event, Google has announced its 7th GEN tensor processing unit ‘Ironwood’, which will be launched by the end of this year. It is being said to be the most powerful AI chip ever, which will offer 3600 times faster performance than the old chip and is also going to be 29 times more energy efficient, that is, it will also take less power.
Google’s private network comes for business
Now Google has opened the global private network for all its enterprises, which is being called ‘Cloud Wide Area Network (WAN)’. For those who don’t know about it, Cloud WAN or Cloud-Based Wide Area Network is a network that connects data centers, offices and cloud applications via the cloud. The company says that this network comes with 40% faster performance and 40% less cost. Big companies like Nestlé and Citadel are already using it.
Quantum computing made easy
At the Google Cloud Next 2025 event, Google has also introduced a new quantum chip ‘Willow’ which has solved a three-decade-old problem, which will make large-scale quantum computing even easier in the future.
Gemini became more powerful
Not only this, Google’s most powerful AI model till date, Gemini 2.5 has also been launched, which can think and answer like people. It is also considered to be the world’s most intelligent AI model. While the Gemini 2.5 flash, on the other hand, is a low-latency and somewhat affordable model.
