Nvidia aims to release new chip every year
Electronic chip manufacturer Nvidia has said that it will now make new artificial intelligence-AI chips every year instead of every two years. The company has recorded a profit of $ 14 billion in the results of the quarter ended April 28. After the Blackwell AI platform from Nvidia’s founder and CEO Jensen Huang, the company will now design a new AI chip every year.
Nvidia has recorded a quarterly income of $26 billion, an increase of 18 percent compared to the previous quarter. There has been a jump of 262 percent on annual basis. After the results, Huang said in an analyst call on Thursday that a new industrial revolution has begun. During this time, he said that companies and countries are working with Nvidia to transfer their trillion-dollar data centers in a new way (AI factories).
He further said that with the help of AI, every industry will benefit and with this, companies will be able to become economical in terms of cost and energy. Besides this, organizations will also get opportunities to increase their income. The company said, “We are ready for a new wave of growth. The Blackwell platform is fully built and has built a strong foundation with a trillion dollar benchmark for Generative AI.” During this time, stock split was also announced by the company.
