Weather department predicts heavy rain in Uttarakhand from September 3 to 6

Due to incessant rains in Uttarakhand, there is a danger of mountains breaking and houses being washed away. Fear prevails in people. Meanwhile, the Uttarakhand Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall from September 3 to September 6. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected in Uttarakhand’s Dehradun, Pauri, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Pithoragarh and Nainital districts on September 3.

At the same time, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in the districts of Kumaon regions of Uttarakhand till 6 September. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has also predicted the possibility of lightning in some areas here.

According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of rain in the state from September 3 to September 6, in which light to moderate rain is expected at many places in all districts of Uttarakhand on September 3. On September 4 and September 5, light to moderate rains may occur in many parts of Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Nainital, Pithoragarh and Champawat districts of Uttarakhand.

In view of the warnings of the Meteorological Department, the State Disaster Management Department has put the District Magistrates, SDRF Police, officials associated with the Disaster Management Department and officials of the Revenue Department on high alert in all the districts.
