38th National Games will be held in two phases in Uttarakhand

The 38th National Games, which will begin from January 28, 2025 will be organized in two phases. In the first phase, from January 28 to February 7, there will be football, modern pentathlon and wushu games. While in the second phase, from February 7 to 14, there will be aquatics, kho-kho and taekwondo games. The national games will be concluded on February 14 at the Indira Gandhi International Sports Complex in Gaulapar, Haldwani.

On Friday, Uttarakhand Olympic Association President Mahesh Negi and General Secretary Dr. DK Singh inspected the sports complex in Gaulapar regarding the preparations for the 38th National Games. During this, they inspected the multipurpose hall, the venue for the taekwondo game. In which it was seen that the hall has a seating arrangement for 600 players. Along with this, the practice court of taekwondo players was also selected above the hall. At the same time, another multipurpose building was inspected for organizing the kho-kho game. In which a spectator gallery with a seating capacity of 1200 people was seen. Also, a training ground for Kho-Kho players will be built inside the hall. The athletics track, laser shooting range, swimming pool being built near the swimming pool for the modern pentathlon game were inspected. The football ground being built in the middle of the swimming pool and cricket ground was also inspected.
