CM Rawat discharged from hospital after recovering from Corona
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has been discharged from Delhi AIIMS on Saturday. The CM is completely healthy but will remain in home isolation for a few days at the moment. It is noteworthy that after coming Corona report positive, CM Trivendra was admitted to Doon Medical College. But, due to fever and lung infection, he was referred to AIIMS Delhi on 28 December.
After CM’s health, there is a wave of happiness among BJP workers, including cabinet ministers and senior leaders. However, he is not coming to Doon, after being discharged. He will remain in home isolation in a Delhi-based residence. On December 18, CM Rawat was found infected alongwith his family members.
Uttarakhand daily Corona update: 263 cases on January 2
On Saturday, 263 new corona patients were found in the state and seven infected people died. With this, the total number of patients in the state has increased to 91544. While 1522 patients have died so far. The recovery rate of patients in the state has crossed 92 percent. According to Health Bulletin issued by Health Department, on Saturday, 4 in Almora, 6 in Bageshwar, 9 in Chamoli, 4 in Champawat, 73 in Dehradun, 27 in Haridwar, 65 in Nainital, 13 in Pauri, 14 in Pithoragarh, 5 in Rudraprayag, 9 in Tehri, 23 in US Nagar, and 11 people in Uttarkashi district have been found to be infected with the virus.
On Saturday, one in AIIMS Rishikesh, one in Doon Medical College, one in Uttarkashi District Hospital, one in Chandola Hospital Rudrapur and three admitted in Haldwani Medical College died. On Saturday, a total of 463 patients from various hospitals of the state were discharged after recovering. With this, the total number of patients who have been cured so far is 84461. While 4362 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals or home isolation. More than 10 thousand samples have been sent from various hospitals for examination.
